A Poem For A Friend...

I thought I'd write a poem,
To cheer up your day,
As friends go…I must admit,
You really are okay!

I found out all the different things…
I can do on my p.c.
That's why you've got this poem,
Especially, from me!

I like the styles of writing,
And believe me, there's a few,
It's surprising what a difference,
A shake up of style will do!

So, I thought I'd send a poem,
To start your brand new day,
And maybe bring a little smile…?
As you go on your way!

Now as my poem nears an end,
I thought I'd change the style,
‘Cause I get so fed up,
After a very short while!

I hope you find it silly,
‘Cause that's the reason why…
I sent this little poem,
‘Cause I'm really very shy…!

Aren't I a clever sod!
Doing all this stuff?
And my excuse, well really…
It gets me through the rough!

So please enjoy this silly rhyme,
I hope it brought a laugh,
Just remember who wrote it…
That silly girl…called Cath…!

Now I had all kinds of different text,
But my p.c. could not send…
So here it is – even so,
From your friend, to my friend!
