like a beehive in an orchard
abundance does not satisfy
in the balance of a raindrop
or the wasp's sex in a violet
a syncope of sense appears …
however one still gets screwed
in the conventional
and time-honored way
yet who am I to make
snap-judgments
on the career of a bumblebee
or on what will ever come to be?
