Setting an Example
We must try to become mature,
In order to open the door;
To the basic things that Christ taught,
And go after the things He sought.
We should not keep talking about,
The things in this world that we doubt;
Death is the result of those deeds,
Like the grain sown between the weeds.
We should be putting faith in God,
Not into something that is flawed;
And work on building our trust,
Rather than in some worthless lust.
God is always just and always fair,
And will reward those who do care;
By showing love to each other,
Treating as sister and brother.
So you would be an example,
To the whole world on the Gospel;
Until the promise is complete,
When Jesus we finally meet.
