The Kiss ღ KKD ღ
The Kiss
Her fingers gently retrace
Her empty longing lips
Where he once
would so lovingly kiss
And for a brief moment
The memories fall like rain
Her heart is void
of the ever present pain
Her memories go back
to what now seems a life time away
Still not knowing why
this love could not stay
She remembers the light brushing
of his loving kiss upon her face
She now so misses the safeness
of his greeting embrace
That warm wonderful hug
said Honey You are Home
lost words I will love you forever
You will never again be alone
His lips upon hers
the feeling she will never forget
His once loving kiss
why must she now regret
She remembers the last one
it was so bitter sweet
For somehow she knew it to be the last
as she watched him drive down the street
One enters love knowing
oh how high the risk
Is it worth the chance
When love is missed
The Kiss of true love
is estacy to all man kind
The Kiss of true love
will she chance again to find.
Oh The Kiss....
