Poetic-Verses from ATHANASE
The Apostate Philosopher (English)
The Apostate Philosopher
'...but who will guard the guardians?'
Juvenal
He's sung the praises of all of these: Mao, Che, Marx, Lenin,
Sotades's poems and Communist crimes:
today he's doing PR for the Capitalist empire,
the vicious surplus value of the Capitoline banks.
You, evil flatterer, stinking turncoat,
I hate every putrid word you've ever written: lies, lies, all lies!
Note: I wrote this pasquin in opposition to certain phony French philosophers whom the clued-up reader should immediately recognise.
