This is the true story about a dragon who couldn't breath fire
And who became so upset he set forth to retire
For what is a dragon with it's fiery breathe?
He thought he was useless and sought only death
He sat in his cave day after day
Wanting these feelings to just go away
Without his fire he felt weak and empty
And so he sat for a while wallowing in self pity
knights and warriors came to test their bravery
But he was a dragon and could defeat them quite easily
For a while he had a plan of stealing their anger
And taunted the knights until they lost their temper
Their fire gave him fire and for while he was ok
Although deep down he wished he could find a better way
Then one day a young knight came to try his luck
And the dragon teased him about the knights wife he did f**k
He taunted the knight with horrible words
With curses of utter nonsense to the completely absurd
The knight laughed and said 'what the hell are you doing?'
'As if i care about who you are screwing'
'I am a knight not some foolhardy squire'
'What's your issues? that you have to try and steal my fire?'
The dragon got mad and showed his sharp razor teeth
He couldn't fight this man who had no believe
The knight put down his sword, shield and spear
And went up to the dragon and whispered in his ear
'We don't have to fight you know, i think you're a marvellous creature'
'And anyway i don't think breathing fire is your best feature'
The Dragon looked sad; "Not my best feature? please explain why?"
The Knight smiled 'well you have amazing scales and you can fly!"
The dragon turned to the knight and said with a plea
"But why do people always want to come and kill me"
The Knight said "Well i guess it all comes down to hype"
"And dragons i am afraid have a pretty bad stereotype"
The dragon cried and said "It's not my fault, i am who i am"
"It wasn't my intention to come into conflict with man"
The dragon then said "So my friend what i am supposed to do?"
"I don't want to end up in some freak show of a zoo"
"I mean a dragon is one thing but a dragon without fire?"
"What sort of a dragon is that? They'll think i'm a liar"
The Knight placed his hand on the dragons claw
"My friend" he said "Like us humans you'll learn to ignore"
"What shall we do? Well i have a plan"
"Lets tour the world showing how we can live together,Dragon and Man"
And as they both left the cave and went on their journey
They took to the skies to spread the word of their unity.
