Some roads have many curves
Slow down or you may swerve
Use caution when driving on ice
Or you may spin once or twice
Figure skaters twist and turn
Their skill takes years to learn
Flowing with beauty and grace
Starting slow then pick up pace
Plumbers clear clogged drains
Using coils until it flows again
Tree roots will block the sewer
Old lines are replaced with newer
Our body has twists and curves
With blood vessels and nerves
Routing to and from the heart
Each having its own little part
Narrowing disc spaces in the spine
Cause pain over periods of time
Injury or twisting the wrong way
Should be evaluated right away
After my junior high health screen
I wore a back brace at age thirteen
For a spinal curve until I was grown
Keeping it stabilized on its own
Years later I found out one day
My spine has curved further away
I will soon be going to a specialist
God will guide me, He knows best
