The Kindness of God
God has shown how kind He can be,
Through everything that you see;
Air we breathe and water we drink,
Take a moment to sit and think.
The air could go in nothing flat,
Or destroy our habitat;
Maybe even make the earth dry,
Then all of us would surely die.
He taught giving up wicked ways,
With living honorable days;
Rid ourselves of earthly lust,
And put in Him all our trust.
So with trust we are given hope,
For strife we are able to cope;
Until that day when Christ returns,
To His rightful throne and governs.
So teach others for a fresh start,
By doing right for a pure heart;
Teaching before Jesus comes back,
For judging others that will lack.
