Little people helping each other
Not just wishing something you could do~
Doesn't cost at end of day
What goes around it comes around~
Struggler's helping struggler's out
Helping each other on the ground~
The barta system always was
Still about in some places~
Doing each other smallest favors
Putting smiles upon some faces~
You've got that and I've got this
Swapping a few small things now and then~
One washes clothes one grows vegetables
It was the way away back when~
Someone keeps all in balance and names
They pass the word around~
One makes clothes and another a handy man
Saves endless money over time it's found~
Keeping an eye out for struggler's
Asking about their happiness~
A small deed here and a small deed there
Works wonders many would confess~

Dropping in what they have more of at home~
