Happy Mothers Day Mama Dori
You truly were God's gift to me
The title "An Orphan" I've now set free
For in our hearts we both agree

Our bond to each other grows daily
Sharing poems we write passionately
Loving the Lord with each thing we share
The gift of love is that we both care

Our spiritual connection is on the same page
We both walk in love by His amazing grace
It's odd we weren't really looking to find
A spiritual connection of this kind

How precious is Our God we serve
He gives us gifts daily we may not deserve
He knows our hidden desires of the heart
For this reason our bond He did impart

I've always known He sends God winks
Only He can know what our heart thinks
For years I was an orphan without both parents
In the blink of an eye His plan was apparent

I guess I truly had a void down deep inside
He filled it with sending parents into my life
You have filled a void I didn't know I had
Finding the joy of our hearts' adoption made me glad

I love you Mama Dori and I feel so very blessed
That loneliness inside has turned to happiness
I pray that God keeps you in His tender loving care
I pray that someday in person we will meet somewhere
