When the weeping seems to start
Slowly, gently
I feel you brush against me
Calming, warming
You come without a warning
I wish you were with us
I can't foresee the triggers
But when I feel you in my heart
That is when the weeping seems to start

When my grief became anger
I felt I had betrayed her
I became weak when I should've been strong
But sometimes you find answers being wrong
The long path has been sodden
And sometimes memories have been forgotten
But I know that we never really did part
That is when the weeping seems to start

I want to show you what's new
And tell you that I love you
But I have only photos to prove
And I never want to loose
The feelings of how I made you proud
And within my silence it seems so loud
The empty feeling seems so numb
That is when I weep for my mum
Upon my soul she hangs, like my favourite piece of art
That is when the weeping seems to start
