Medication doesn't work anymore to ease my chronic pain
How about a revolution
The faces are all different
but the game remains the same
How about a revolution
What of that clever wink of yours
when lying for The Man
How about a revolution
At one time you and I were tight
part of my inner clan
How about a revolution
You told me once
this was all for us
that is what you said
How about a revolution
The way things are now going
I'd be better off dead
How about a revolution
I play my music louder
til my fingers swell and puff
How about a revolution
I'd like to cut off your head
and have a cliff to throw it off
How about a revolution
End this collusion of exclusion
Defuse smart bombs of confusion
Children and mothers.
Sisters and brothers.
How about a revolution
How about a revolution
How about a revolution
Today
