Shadow Shifting
When I heard the echo
in the late afternoon-
I let it wrap me softly-
I let it play it's tune.
I smiled into the sunshine
and let it's warmth infuse-
and swirled in lightest laughter
at this very sweetest news.
Your darkest, heavy shadow
shifted right away-
and lifted all the dullness
and left my heart to play.
Joy Weare.
8th May, 2008.
