Never In My Life

I've never placed material things
Before real true love~
Made more sacrifices than most
In the name of God above~
I've lost and left so much behind
In my life it is ever true~
And if I had not been this way
I would never have the love I do~
Comes a time'comes to mind
So many to material things hang on~
Putting them in front of finding love
Or keeping them before love all along~
I personally know so many wealthy
And they are so lonely ever so~
As almost all their friends attracted to
What it is they have it is so~
If real true love for you in life
Is what your heart and soul it searches for~
Material things must never stand in your way
Or you will belong to them not love ever more~
I have never placed material things
Before the love one day I knew I'd find~
If I had not taken the advice of my dearest dad
The love I now know would be left so far behind~
Once then you find true love
Two inlove can obtain all things they need~
But to put material things before true love
And love leaves your sight with speed~
