A Moment For
Mothers come in all shapes and sizes
Come in all colors and all creeds
A mother's love is unconditional
She tries to meet her children's needs
A mother's not some superwoman
But she is super in many ways
She's someone who will tuck you under
To keep you dry on stormy days
You may not understand her motives
You may rebel at her demands
She may seem selfish and imposing
But life will teach you where she stands
Her door is always open to you
Her heart will always hold you close
Should all the world shun and forsake you
You'll know right then who cares the most
She's not a saint and she's not an angel
But God has given her to you
This Mother's Day tell her you love her
Because you know she loves you, too
