Reach For The Sky
To my son Donald on his 31st birthday, love you always Mum xxx
I`m sure I`ve told you this before
As your birthday knocks the door
How very proud I am my son
To be your friend and be your mum
You feel things deep within your soul
Music is what keeps you whole
When you`re sad and feeling down
Your music takes away the frown
Lyrics flow and with the rhyme
Music lilts along in time
Through your joy and through your pain
Music plays it all again
Whether it be joy or sorrow
You will sing it all tomorrow
You were born to sing and write
And I know you`ll win the fight
To reach the stars and become One
`Cause you deserve it all my son
Have a happy day Ma boy
Fill it up with hope and joy
Keep the flag on flying high
Go my son, reach for the sky
