Is Sorry a dirty word?
It's always thought but never heard
Just like the words 選 love you'
Saying sorry is so hard to do
全orry' for acting like a prat
全orry' for this, 壮orry' for that
全orry' is like the word love
It can be as peaceful as the dove
But it has to be meant and be true
And we must believe in what we do
Sorry doesn't always make things right
Although it can end a bitter fight
Though sometimes also like love too
Saying sorry won't get you through
The word sorry and love can both be broken
And lay dormant and forgotten
And within the darkest corners it can hide
With its shadow, self-pride
Sorry and love. I wonder what we say more?
And why is it such a chore?
To go about our day
And find it so hard to say
I love you and I am sorry
My favourite bedtime story.
