The day is beautiful,
As the sun envelopes the world,
The wind is low,
As it whirled to the earth,
As I wait,
Trees bow a low curtsy to the land,
Birds flying and gathering food for their young,
Nonstop chatter of the woodpecker,
Drumming his song,
of his longing,
As I wait,
I'm laying here on the grass,
Looking up at the clouds,
Rolling by as water on a river,
As I wait,
Shapes of life growing out of the ground,
As dandelions so yellow,
Roses roll their petals as they wake up the sun,
As I wait,
To hear his voice and see his face,
Would awaken a river of love forever more.
