Dottie Rambo;Queen Of Gospel Music
A precious saint went home today
The one and only ;" Dottie Rambo"
A true daughter of the King
She was an angel without wings
Now she's sheltered in the arms of God
On streets of glory she now trods
It is said 2500 hymns was what she had wrote
Truly feeling the anointing of each and every note
There's not many that would be so steadfast
She was one of a kind full of joy that surpassed
I never seen her on TV without her humor making me laugh
Dottie at times signed her music as she sung for the deaf
Oh what a bitter sweet feeling to hear she went home
Although her memory and music will forever live on
For she's singin' in heaven now and her body is whole
We're just gonna miss our precious Sister" Dottie Rambo"
Dottie felt the words and music as she sang
As though she was singing "only" to the King
The anointing would flow and she loved to testify
Of what an awesome God through life helped her survive
Dottie has her wings now and sings in the choir
More beautiful than on earth she'll sing even higher
How she had longed to be with Jesus someday
I can see her beaming as her spirit went home today
Dottie you were one of a kind
God's love and light from you always shined
Thank-you for all you shared with so many
Nobody will ever take your place,no not any
