Looking beyond tomorrow
with a lonely heavy heart
I can not believe my only love
did too quickly depart
Looking beyond tomorrow
for a path not traveled alone
and that comforting arm in the night
which to me now is unknown

I fight the bitterness and pain
into this heart I vow
it's access will not gain

I do see better days
for there will be someone
