Just an Existence in my Mind?
Just an existence in my mind
To want not to need
to want to be strong
to want not to feel alone
to feel that I belong.
To not have to rely
to be fine on my own
to be my own person
to not have to hear another moan.
To not fear darkness
to be full of joy and calm
to know true contentment
to forget to feel alarm.
To know how to go forwards
to leave the past behind
to forget others harm to me
to not remember things unkind.
To just live life peacefully
to not feel anxious each day
to know what I want
to have the courage to say.
To have a world that's this good
to find this type of strength
to not feel that all is so hard
to not have to go to great lengths.
To have all this really happen
to see the world be like this
to know it is not a dream
to hear others agree not dismiss.
To know this isn't just a fallacy
to have faith life can be this kind
to know this is not impossible
to know it's not just an existence in my mind!
