June's Rhymes
Little Boy Gone
This beautiful, heartwrenching poem, was written by my sister Sandy, about my precious son, Keith, my little boy gone.
How I long, for the little boy gone.
I see you sitting beside me,
and I holding you so tenderly.
If only I could touch your face just one more time,
would that be a crime?
How I long for the little boy gone.
I can hear you say,
mommy come on, let's go play,
it's not rainning today.
How I long for the little boy gone.
We would take our walks, start to cross the street,
I would take your hand,
look down at you and say, you will always be my little man.
How I long for the little boy gone.
Humble little fellow that you were,
I can say that, yes sir.
I long for the little boy gone. Keith, soon Jehovah will bring you home,
never again will you and your mother be alone.
Tears of joy will be on your face,
all because of Jehovah's grace.
I will see the prize,
When I see the joy in your mother's eyes.
Little boy has come home.
