You Raise Me Up
My Precious Savior
I come this Thanksgiving Day
on bended knee in search of the words
my thankfulness to convey
Your love I daily feel
the strength to me you give
that carries me day to day
through which I richly live
My family of which I treasure so
that brings me such joy and happiness
To hear a grandchild show their love
with 'Mom can Nana come home with us'
My Friends... oh how special ...
they are the rock I lean so heavily upon
With out their love and strength
Some days I'm not sure I could go on.
I pray Poppa and Bill you know
how very much you are missed
It is because of you I am who I am
and that this family has been so blessed
When I sit at the Thanksgiving table
with family all around
I pray our precious protectors know
how what they do so astounds.
It is because of these things
I must remember makes my life a full cup
I humbly give thanks today
Because You All Raise Me Up
