Therapy Ups and Downs Going to therapy, I can truthfully say Gives perspective in a whole new way The doctor recommended this treatment For my neck with hopes of improvement He begins each session with moist heat The first time I almost went to sleep It relaxes neck muscles that are tight Aiding mobility especially to my right In two sessions, my pain is decreased Mobility and flexibility has increased God deserves all the praise and glory Ups and downs remain in my true story Other problem areas have now come about With unknown answers I need to find out Pain in arms to my right elbow finally ended But sensation in hands and wrists extended The first instance may be a nerve he hit Home exercises seem to have added to it Maybe it is muscle related from lack of use Some suggest carpal tunnel due to overuse I do not even know his full qualifications But he is not meeting all my expectations He seems to go beyond the doctor's goals In attempting to treat my back as a whole I do not want to be a quitter, when I did try I hope they will understand the reasons why Without concrete answers, I cannot continue All these sessions, I may have to discontinue © Carol Salter on 5/17/08 (Revised 5/20/08) Note: I have decided to continue with the therapy sessions.
