You Will Forever Haunt Me ღ KKD ღ
You Will Forever Haunt Me
Like thunder in the dead night
it rumbles deep within
for now its only about
Me and my surviving
My love I gave
You cast aside
You try so hard
to strip my pride
You treat me as though
I'm nothing at all
This decision you made
will not be my fall.
The measure of a man
is his dealings with life
You choose to hide
causing others such strife
The cowards way
I never would have thought
The pain you cast out
upon others you have brought
My love embers for the old you
will forever burn
But my soul for you not to torture
for this I do yearn.
The road back to goodness
should you ever choose to trod
will be rocky and rough
and in the hands of God.
You took what was beautiful
and so meant to be
but chose to turn it ugly
casting such pain onto me
Your head should hang with shame
your heart to feel my pain
My life you so torture
Tell me what is your gain
The man I loved so dearly
was he but a betrayed dream?
Did he never exist
just part of your ugly twisted scheme?
What is your point
What is your twisted goal
To take what was openly given
and kill my loving soul.
If to take me to my knees
was what this is all about
Then Glorious Victory
is what you should shout
Upon this pool reflecting
I leave these purple flowers
In rememberance of you
and a love that once was ours
You leave me alone
no reasoning I can see
to deal with what you leave behind
and you will forever haunt me
