There are lean times, to appreciate wealth
There is sorrow, to know happiness
There is pain, to know good health
Having a need, you wait for God to bless
There must be love, to feel complete
There must be courage, to stand strong
There must be understanding, when two minds meet
And aware of exclusion,and what it means to "Belong"
We experience anger, to learn how to be glad
We know selfishness, when we can't share
We understand happy, because we've been sad
We've learned compassion, when one shows they care
We learn so much, as we live day by day
We have emotions that change all the time
Lets treat what we have learned. . .A special way
Not as if . . . There's no reason nor rhyme!
