Little Boys And Pantries

Little boys and pantries
The two are never far away~
Little boys and pantries
Away back on the day~
Mum walks into her home
After being out awhile~
She hears a little noise
And he stands there with a smile~
Standing so still within the pantry
And lots of jam upon his face~
Looking at mum now standing there
With such innocence and grace~
Well..What are you up to mum asks
Oh me .. I'm looking for a mouse~
He ran in here and I after him
The dirty little louse~
Really .. said his mum smiling
Noticing his pockets full of bits~
And his hands behind his back
With goodies in his mitts~
Well I do hope you find that mouse
As she reached and threw him a towel~
Thinking to herself then that
She should have threw him a trowel~
Mum leaves and walks away on purpose
So little boy can do his thing~
Little boys and pantries
So many memories it brings~
