The Holy Spirit
There are certain ways we are weak,
Because of desires we seek;
But His Spirit helps us along,
Persevering to make us strong.
When we do not know what to pray,
His Spirit will help us to say;
And giving us just the right word,
By the Father it can be heard.
All our thoughts already known,
By the Lord sitting on His throne;
While He fully understands,
Each one like the back of His hands.
Since God is the one who designed,
He knows the inside of your mind;
If you are really true to heart,
Or you are acting out a part.
So as long as we are sincere,
His Spirit helps to persevere;
To make it through everyday,
With peace of mind and not to stray.
