Don't be discouraged if it rains on you
You are called the salt of the earth to distribute
It is said by many that sugar will melt
This shouldn't matter to you as salt brings health
The rains will come and they will go
Thus bringing my promise in the form of a rainbow
So do not be weary if you get a little wet
For you are the salt of the earth still yet
I send the rains for many reasons
Pouring out my blessings in this season
Helping the flowers and gardens to grow
For the beauty of my majesty to show
Praise the Lord for the rain
Praise the Lord for everything
For He is blessing both you and me
Come forth the rain for the beauty to see
The sun doesn't shine every day
For the Creator designed it that way
Yet beauty will abound to see
From all His creation down to the trees
As it rained all the beauty came
Cleansing the earth once again
Causing the dust to settle down
As the rainbow springs forth around
