United by Christ
There was a time being without,
Had no Christ and causing you doubt;
So at that time you did not know,
Which direction that you would go.
Being foreigners in a land,
Not knowing which way for to stand;
The promise of God with no part,
That you could put into your heart.
You lived in a place without hope,
The future difficult to cope;
And the Lord seemed so far away,
In a pagan world left to stray.
But at one time whence you were taught,
Just what the blood of Christ had bought;
Bridging the gap drawing you near,
To the Father who is sincere.
You are a blessing in His sight,
If within Christ that you unite;
No more a stranger in this place,
Once you are living in His grace.
