Just Her Heart

She does not have
Gold nor riches
Guarded by a dragon
In a castles' keep

She does not have
The moons' soft dust
To evoke dreams
Within your sleep

She does not have
A diamonds shine
Times most prestigious
Work of art

She does not have much
To offer you
All she can give
Is her heart

She can not capture
A shooting star
In hopes to grant
Your every wish

Any claims that she holds
The ocean waves
You can so quickly,
Now, dismiss

She can not harness
A summer storm
When you long
For skies of blue

She can not speed
A flowers bloom
So you can inhale
Such sweet perfume

She does not posess
Wings of down
To reach you
In lands of far

She does not have much
To offer you
All she can give
Is her heart
