Reach across the darkened void
That empty silence between our souls
Hold me close into the night
Come with me one more time

Light the path as I stumble forth
Brambles of doubt around my feet
Branches striking out to waken me
Do not let them deter me now love

Help me reach that place of hope
Created from my heart and mind
I am not strong enough darling
I need your guidance one more time

Play me a song, be my piper sweet
Lure me away from realitys' world
Show me how to return to your arms
To my only sanctuary, my familiar place

Return me to our love of the ancients
Our sweet caress wrapped in crimson ribbons
Show me once more what rapture means
I beg you, help me reach my dreams
