A Concern for Others
I thank God in the name of Christ,
Was allowed to be sacrificed;
Hung on the cross to take the blame,
Which was for our guilt and shame.
People everywhere on earth,
Still have not been given rebirth;
Because of their faith is so weak,
With all the pleasures that they seek.
Though I serve God with all my heart,
Many others never do start;
To follow Him as they obey,
Since their desire is to stray.
It seems this task is never done,
Telling the good news of His Son;
Giving His life to set us free,
For living an eternity.
But my prayers will remain the same,
As I continue to proclaim;
Encourage others to decide,
Let Christ in their heart to abide.
