A Cry From The Castle

A Cry From The Castle

As I begin this story
I direct you to see
The castle that is pictured
In a time once that was seen

The castle is now empty
Of who once called it home
But it is said in its shadows
A young maiden roams

<<<*>>> <<<*>>> <<<*>>>

It all started one twilight
As she was completing a ride
Just before her stood a stranger
With soul searching eyes

Well my lady you are a beauty
Come sit down by me
Your horse could use resting
And I'm good company

Because he was so handsome
From her saddle she did rise
To sit with the stranger
With the captivating eyes

But once she had settled
On the grass of the hill
The enchantment
Became her nightmare

"You do as you're told
and you may not be killed"

<<<*>>> <<<*>>> <<<*>>>

You tramp you young harlot
You will soon learn in a few
To not take the hand
Of a stranger
When offered to you

He pushed her beneath him

Grabbing handfuls of hair...
She screamed

PLEASE
DO  NOT  DO  THIS

But he chose not care

<<<*>>> <<<*>>> <<<*>>>
<<<*>>> <<<*>>> <<<*>>>
<<<*>>> <<<*>>> <<<*>>>
<<<*>>>
<<<*>>> <<<*>>> <<<*>>>
<<<*>>> <<<*>>> <<<*>>>
<<<*>>> <<<*>>> <<<*>>>

Up on the mountain
With no one to see
The young woman so trusting
Lost her virginity

She fought and she screamed
On the mountain that day
But with no one to hear her
She gave him his way

<<<*>>> <<<*>>> <<<*>>>

As he rose up to leave her
In sobs of despair
She cried out ...

YOU  BASTARD
HOW  CAN  YOU
JUST  LEAVE  ME  HERE

You are lucky young maiden
That I now move away
I could have easily left you
For the eagle's sweet prey

With that he just laughed
as he dismounted his horse
He again slowly approached her
Of course showing no remorse

She reached in her saddle
Found her dagger waiting there
You will NOT do this to me
And just simply not care

He just stood there laughing
At the tears in her eyes
Without really knowing
Her dagger did rise

He dropped where he stood
Oh what had she done
For her now is no reason
To reach for the sun

<<<*>>> <<<*>>> <<<*>>>

The villager's found her
On the mountain that day
Not far from a stranger
That dead also lay

<<<*>>> <<<*>>> <<<*>>>
<<<*>>> <<<*>>> <<<*>>>
<<<*>>> <<<*>>> <<<*>>>

As we must now move back
To the time of today
You may be surprised at this ending
And the role that I've played

I live in yon castle
Roam its halls piercing cold
From the lips of my spirit
This story has been told

Remember young maidens
You must be aware
Not To take
The hand of a stranger
When no one is near

What may seem so harmless
Can soon turn to fear
And leave you forever
To cry out in tears

For eternity I live now
With the tale that I've told
Alone in this castle
With no one to hold

<<<*>>> <<<*>>> <<<*>>>
<<<*>>> <<<*>>> <<<*>>>
<<<*>>> <<<*>>> <<<*>>>

If you pass in the evening
The castle you've seen
And you hear a low moaning
It is only me

I am captured to earth
By the deed that I have done

And the saddest of truths

The young stranger

... Has won ...
