New Life
You were dead in the past,
A spiritual outcast;
For sin and fighting God,
With no honor and laud.
Twas Satan you obeyed,
And all that he conveyed;
Keeping ways of this world,
As God's plan is unfurled.
You kept lit the fires,
Of selfish desires;
Controlling heart and mind,
That was making you blind.
God has been feeling grim,
With many against Him;
Walking down the wrong path,
Directly towards His wrath.
But His mercy and grace,
Took pity on the disgrace;
Giving new life through Christ,
With being sacrificed.
