As I gaze down toward Earth
Over the seas, beyond the skies
I'm aware of you, my children
I see all . . . Through my eyes
I see all the trouble and heartache
It comes not, as any surprise
Not much more, can I take
Watching all . . . Through my eyes
It's as though, I'm pierced again
Like that day on Calvary
My love now, Is as great as then
Through my eyes . . . I still can see
But, one day soon, I will return
To bring you here, with me
Brushing away those tears of sadness
Then, through my eyes, you will see
Glorious streets of Heaven, await you
Love abounds, from sunrise to sunrise
Days filled with wonder, until forever
All so wonderful . . . Through my eyes!
