We Are All His Children

I as a child myself remember
Reading long ago~
That we were all his children
And he meant it too you know~
But as I look around today
I see life of every kind ~
I see souls that are not children
And it worries so my mind~
Things happening that scare me so
As even children would not do~
The very ones that are to set examples
For little children it is true~
I wonder ever so where it will end
Or take a turn one day for the best~
Souls upon earth to live and learn
And try hard to pass each test~
