Ethereal Moments The Poetry of Donavon Scott Vinson
Peacefulness
An ethereal peace settles softly over me,
as the clear blue skies turn purple,red, and orange.
A cool breeze wondrously calms my racing mind
with its gentle caress as the stars begin to shine.
The longing of my soul finds sweet comfort
in the lovely light of the full moon.
My aching heart becomes soothed as the comets
flash brilliantly across the night skies,
and all is made right in my life as the serene song
of the crickets echo across the land at the chiming
of the deliciously refreshing midnight hour.
