Memories of Past Presents
Tour of Duty

In this land of love aplenty,
I look for love but don't have any.
I look here and there and everywhere,
Just to find someone to share.
I'm looking for you, but you don't know,
I am looking to make our love grow.
There are so many around me today,
Beautiful ladies- but to my dismay.
I still have not met the one,
The one that is you, the one that has begun.
Begun to be in my dreams every night,
The one that stands out in my mind so bright.
Your face is burned in my mind so clear,
Love shining in your eyes so sincere.
I feel that if I don't find you before long,
I will lose this vision of you so strong.
I feel the fear building in my head,
Feeling of doom, feeling of dread.
I will lose my lady, the one for me,
Please come, please stay, hear my plea.
I wake from sleep and look around,
There you are sleeping on pillows of down.
For in my dreams I felt the fear,
Of not having you before you were here.
Now you are mine, my joy, my all,
Holding you at night I continue to fall.
In love with you and you with me,
We finally are happy, we both agree.
