As the storms rage and billows roll
It is well with my soul
The lightning flashes and thunder booms
I have no fear for Jesus lives in my heart's room
I hear the sirens sounding afar
No fear comes on me for satan's a liar
He knows his days are falling short
So he's attempting to God's word distort
But those in Christ Jesus won't be moved
For by the blood of Jesus we are renewed
So let the thunder crash and billows roll
For it is still well with my soul
The news reports flash floods around
Yet my faith in God is safe and sound
He gives me peace in all storms of life
Removing daily any oncoming strife
I praise my God for a renewed mind
For the old me was in strife all the time
I am daily amazed of where He's brought me to
If you trust in Him, He'll do the same for you

24 For he looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth under the whole heaven;
25 To make the weight for the winds; and he weigheth the waters by measure.
26 When he made a decree for the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder:
27 Then did he see it, and declare it; he prepared it, yea, and searched it out.
28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the LORD, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.
