Like the pedals of a delicate rose bud
His love in us unfolds like the wings of a dove
Revealing the beauty once hidden inside of us
As we share the love of our Lord Jesus
Before the rose blooms the beauty is hidden
Then when it blooms a sweet fragrance is given
I feel the Son's love pouring over me
As the rose's beauty shows upon blossoming
His Holy Spirit inside us daily renews
Transforming our heart with a love that's true
Only by the master's hand the rose takes form
Gently it unfolds with a uniqueness of it's own
He gently molds us and watches us grow
Hoping we'll become as the sweet savor of a rose
If we try to unfold our own lives we'll never be
The beauty He intended for the world to see
We need the living water of the Holy Spirit to flow
We need the living word to help us grow
We need to walk by faith and share His love
Then like the rose the master's hand will unfold us from above
