THE GRAVE SIDE






*^*THE GRAVE SIDE*^*



             

As I stood at the grave side
Falling tears I could not hide,
You are just six feet away
This is a heart breaking day.

    

So near yet so far you`ll lay
Always in this place you`ll stay,
I can`t touch you ever again
My heart will always be in pain.

    

It`s an uncrossable gap
My sorrow it drains my sap,
Life without you won`t be the same
My heart keeps calling out your name.

    

I am alive and you are dead
Now I cry alone in my bed,
How can I face each day anew?
Knowing I can`t be with you.
