From the Heart Through the Pen

Moment of Weakness

A man out of a boy
For the better is how she made me
From a moment of weakness
Strengthened me mentally, emotionally
And most of all spiritually
Her lips brought so much joy
To this worn out heart

From the day she said hello
Green sapphire like jewels
Made their way to my soul
At that time, the guard must've
Had a moment of weakness
And went for a stroll
For my heart she captured with ease
I lost all feeling below my knees

From that moment of weakness
Foot, finger and heart prints
She left all over my world
Not even Guinness could track her record
Proving this wasn't just a stint
She was to keep my heart for a lifetime

Who would've thought or known
It'd be me True Beauty would find
I'd love her for life
Take her hand in marriage
Knowing everyday I am Blessed
While I get lost in her jewels
My heart relives a Moment of Weakness
