Our heart is what keeps us alive
Without it, all of us would die
But there are things we can do
To remain healthy and fit too
Stay active with daily exercise
You may be big or small in size
Ask the doctor before you start
For a plan to benefit your heart
Eat right and get plenty of rest
You will have energy and zest
Drinking lots of water each day
Helps to keep the doctor away
What about your spiritual heart?
The soul and spirit from the start
That inner being from your birth
Have you experienced His rebirth?
Is your heart cold and far from God
Indifferent to Him in the way you trod?
Or is it lukewarm, just mediocre at best?
God will spit you out with all the rest
Oh, that we would have a heart on fire
Burning and full of passion and desire
Doing everything for His honor and glory
Sharing with others the greatest love story
It starts with faith the size of a mustard seed
Growing deep within, until we see our need
Once we are drawn by the Spirit to the Light
New life is ours by the power of His might
