Petals In The Grass

Pretenders

We could walk the shoreline
Or set sail upon the sea
We could be long lost sailors
From another century

We could be famous painters
And dazzle people with art
We could be great sculptors
When shall we start?

We could be aviators
Soaring through the sky
We could be astonauts
Really flying high

We could be passionate lovers
I could be more than just a friend
We could be an imaginary couple
For one day can't we just pretend?
