Turn their back on the Almighty
He paid the price and longs all to receive
The precious blood poured out on Calvary
There will never be a love more true
This love He wants to impart in you
It grieves Him so that you don't know
The love that can change you heart and soul
How could he or how could she
Refuse a love that gives life eternally
This love He offers gives a new birth
Not only to one but all the earth
Yet many fail to seek and find
The heart of God so true and kind
They live their lives from day to day
Never giving thought to even pray
How could he or how could she
Trample on the Creator that made thee
It is He that gives you each breath
Many serve satan that offers only death
They have idols they worship instead
Putting anyone or anything before God you'll regret
For it is He that you're to seek and love first
Better than anything or anyone on earth
How could he or how could she
Put anything upon a pedestal above thee
There's even parents lives that evolves around their children
Forsaking God with whom all life was actually given
My heart is weary that many don't see
They make persons and things idols before thee
They're not loving the Lord thy God with all their heart
Making it impossible for Your Agape Love to impart
How could he or how could she
Put money,person or thing before thee
For all things of this earth will soon be past
Only what's done through Christ will last
