The One True LoveFrom the start you were told, Watching as plans unfold; To love one another, As sister and brother. Never try just like Cain, Whose brother died in vain; Then was condemned for life, For living in His strife. Able was very good, And doing as He should; While Cain full of hate, Found evil as his fate. If no love with each breath, Then you are held by death; And power Satan holds, As iniquity molds. If love you have is true, God remains in your view; And His laws you obey, No desire to stray. Richard Newton Sherrer Copyright ©2008 Richard NewtonSherrer Vote for this poem
