Dream Shattered
I had a beautiful dream
of owning my own house,
now, that dream is shattered
like a fire, it has been doused.
I had a good paying job
over a month ago, I was hired,
but, today was different
less than three hours, I was fired.
I worked for a coffee company
Gevalia, was the name,
I gave my best and my all
but, I guess, they didn't feel the same.
I had to take incoming calls
for seven and a half hours every day,
sure, it may have been stressful
I'll miss the friends I've made.
