Come my love, dream a little dream with me

Stay with me all through the long lonely night
We'll dance slowly under twinkling stars above
Floating on clouds as we share undying love
We'll tenderly kiss until early dawn before sunrise
As we lovingly gaze into each other's sleepy eyes
Embrace me one last time before we must go
Promise to return at twilight's purple glow
Our dreams will have to wait for another day
Until then God to protect you I shall pray
We must take different roads when daylight breaks
