Let it Rain

Let it rain
Washing away the pain

I've seen demons upon this plane
Born from torturous terrain

Let the showers come down
As my fears are laid beneath the ground

For this sadness is now unfamiliar terrain
And I shall never again live in distain

It's pouring to where eyes cannot see
But my heart knows what they can't read

Among us great things lie
Once the water recedes leaving it dry

Do not let the water flood your heart
For the fire that burns may not restart

The rain does not mean an end
But a new start with help to lend
